Allison Messick, PT, DPT, OCS
(Physical Therapist)
Allison is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a passion for helping patients move better, feel stronger, and return to the activities they love. She earned her undergraduate degree from Creighton University and completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She holds her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification and is dry needling certified, reflecting advanced training in the evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.
Allison values individualized, evidence-based care and believes the body has a remarkable propensity to heal when given the right environment and guidance. Her role, as she sees it, is to help facilitate that process through skilled assessment, targeted treatment, and education. Her treatment approach addresses both the mechanical and neuromotor components of injury, allowing her to tailor care to each patient’s specific movement patterns, goals, and functional needs. She emphasizes helping patients understand their bodies, their diagnoses, and the “why” behind their treatment, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery and long-term health.
Outside of the clinic, Allison enjoys hiking, staying active, and spending time with her family.
